Top London Lawyer Sian Aung Joins the London Irish Forum as a Trustee
Sian Aung a top lawyer and Partner at leading local law firm RRP Associates , has joined the London Irish Forum as its newest Trustee.
Siobhan says “ I met Noelette Hanley who is Head of the London Irish Forum at a business networking event. I always thought the Forum mainly organised the St Patrick’s Day Parade and put on a few other local events but I had no idea of its greater involvement in the community and how it gives support to those who need real help, whether they are Irish or from other cultures, through its drop in centre, with advice on housing, benefits and welfare.
“I was delighted when Noelette invited me to become a Trustee. I am now planning to hold a business related network event at the London Irish Forum, for its sponsors and connections. The London Irish Forum has 900 members and many more contacts. I am hoping this will be successful and we can make it a regular event. The first one will be in May.
“I am also planning a range of seminars that will cover interesting and useful topics for members, such as Family Law, which is my speciality, Wills and Power of Attorney which will be relevant to a lot of people, especially those with ageing parents, and for the members that own their own businesses – a guide to debt recovery and business health checks alongside Employment law updates. I get tremendous satisfaction out of being in a position to put something back into the local community.”
Noelette Hanley says “We are delighted to welcome Siobhan to the Board of Trustees at the London Irish Forum. She is full of so many ideas that will support the Forum and she has the energy and drive to ensure her initiatives come to fruition. She has managed to combine a brilliantly successful career with marriage and a family and she brings a lot of knowledge and experience into the fold. She’s a real Irish London girl and I know she’ll make a great contribution to our community.”
